Personal Development for Everyone
Congratulations! If you’ve made it to my blog, that means you’ve navigated your way through the incredibly dense and rapidly growing jungle that is the world wide web, and more specifically the world of weblogs.
My motivation for writing this blog, Personal Development for Everyone, stems from my recent discovery and subsequent interest in personal growth and improvement. There are many different forms of this personal development, and an endless list of topics.
I call it Personal Development for Everyone, because more and more I realize that at one point or another we can all use a little pick me up, be it in the form of advice, motivational words, or simply an understanding that others suffer the same frustrations and setbacks as we do.
Personal Development for Everyone will cover a wide variety of subjects, meaning I will move rather quickly from one area to the next, and some posts will have more meaning and value to you than others. The idea is to cover a broad range of these topics so everyone (hence the blog title) can find the value in striving for personal excellence. It’s a cause worth fighting for, and I’m sure you’ll soon agree.
As a young adult, I am wading my way through many of these topics for the first time. I find it most interesting to study a variety of sources that are giving their take on a particular topic. This allows me to ingest a number of different angles and opinions, process them and then create my own comprehensive response.
Much of what you’ll read about will be created as a result of a specific experience that I have recently gone through, or that I am currently experiencing. Many of the subjects are “real world” things, like buying a house, or getting married, or balancing work and life. Other subjects are more career oriented. Examples of these topics are:
- Time Management
- Success
- Finances
- Discipline
- Confidence
- Goal Setting
- Etc.
If you’ve read this far down, I thank you for your patience, and I encourage you to have a look at some of my archived posts. I think you will find them helpful, informative and most importantly motivational.
Personal Development is not a destination, it’s a journey. Keep that in mind as you constantly try to improve yourself, each and every day.
Good Luck,
RJ
